We’ll end up seeing a good amount of sunshine today with highs in the low to mid 40s.

Remining Chilly Into Late-Week

Temperatures will stay on the cooler side the remainder of this week. The average high this time of the year in the Roanoke Valley is 53 degrees and we will not be near that through the weekend. In fact most days will fall 6-10 degrees below average, with Friday being a particularly cold day.

Looks like scattered snow showers return early Friday. A system will graze the area to the south with plenty of cold air in place. We are a bit too far out to give exact details, but we will continue to monitor and give you the First Alert to any changes. Stay tuned!
