‘It’s going to be a crazy week’ for Oregon weather
Another atmospheric river is set to flow into the Pacific Northwest later this week, bringing with it the potential for landslides and debris flows.
Several inches of rain are expected.
High winds will hit the coast, as well as in a portion of the Columbia Basin and in central Oregon.
Monday was also a record-setting day for temperatures. Temps have been mild in the region for this time of year.
But the snow levels will drop by Friday, bringing snow to the mountain passes, potentially making travel troublesome.
“It’s going to be a crazy week,” said KATU Meteorologist Dave Salesky.
