Sprinter battery bad reroute parking heater wiring. !!UPDATE in description!!@vandingo1

Well after getting dash light warnings I put a meter on the original OEM battery and find the after about 5 years it is getting weaker and time to replace. This video shares the replacement with a Costco Interstate battery, as well as re-routing the Velit parking heater to the house battery terminal. Despite a Cascadia 4×4 hood mounted solar panel to insulate the starter battery from too much draw, extended cloudy weather weakens the starter battery when the heater is running.

!!UPDATE!!
Shortly after completing video started up the van for a second time and got a check engine light. Mercedes info says this can happen when changing a battery. Hooked up my scan tool cleared the code and it hasn’t returned.
