User Generated Content (UGC) Policy, Responsibilities, and Conduct

This policy governs the submission, use, and management of all content, including job postings, company descriptions, and profiles, that is created or uploaded by our users (“You” or “User”) on BestTruckJobs.com.
1. Definition of User Generated Content (UGC)
UGC includes, but is not limited to:
- Job Postings: Text, data, images, and attachments included in any job listing.
- Company Profiles: Company names, logos, descriptions, and contact information.
- User Information: Any data, text, or images uploaded to a user or company account.
2. User Responsibilities and Rights to Content
A. Your Ownership and License to BestTruckJobs.com
- Your Content is Yours: You retain all ownership rights to the UGC you submit to BestTruckJobs.com.
- Grant of License: By submitting UGC, you grant BestTruckJobs.com a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the UGC in connection with the service, including the promotion of the website in any media formats and through any media channels.
- Warranties: You warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to publish the UGC you submit.
B. Content Standards and Prohibited Content
You are solely responsible for your UGC. All UGC must adhere to the following standards:
- Accuracy: Job listings must be truthful, accurate, complete, and reflect genuine, currently available positions.
- Legality: UGC must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including but not limited to labor laws, equal opportunity employment regulations (EEOC), and truth-in-advertising laws.
- No Misrepresentation: You must not post jobs that are misleading, deceptive, or that misrepresent the nature of the job, compensation, location, or required qualifications.
- No Harmful Content: You must not submit content that is defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable.
- No Spam or Phishing: Job postings must not contain or promote links to malicious websites, unsolicited advertisements, or fraudulent schemes.
3. BestTruckJobs.com Rights and Moderation
A. Right to Monitor and Remove
BestTruckJobs.com reserves the right, but is not obligated, to monitor, review, or remove any UGC at its sole discretion, for any reason or no reason, without notice. This includes content that we deem to violate this policy or is otherwise harmful to the reputation or operation of the website.
B. Enforcement
Violation of this UGC Policy may result in, but is not limited to:
- The immediate removal of the offending job posting or content.
- Temporary suspension of the User or Company account.
- Permanent termination of the User or Company account.
4. Expected User Behavior (Code of Conduct)
Users accessing and using BestTruckJobs.com are expected to maintain a professional and respectful environment.
- Professional Conduct: Users (both employers and job seekers) must interact with other users and the platform in a professional and lawful manner.
- Secure Access: Users must safeguard their login credentials and not share their account access with unauthorized parties.
- Reporting Violations: Users who find content that violates this policy are encouraged to report it immediately through the designated contact channels.
